Historical Seagrove Real Estate

Heading south off of US 98 on SR 395 and winding through a few beautiful miles of the longleaf, slash and sand pines of Point Washington State Forest you’ll reach Scenic 30A. At that stoplight you will be positioned roughly 100 feet from the white sands of the Emerald Coast’s legendary beaches and nearly at the center of one of South Walton County Florida’s oldest and most iconic communities, Seagrove Beach.

While the generational residents of neighboring Grayton Beach might disagree, it is still true to say that ‘Seagrovians’ could also reasonably debate that Seagrove Beach itself is also at the center of South Walton culture as we know it today. However, and as we all know, the truth generally rests somewhere closer to the middle, so we will leave it at that.

All jabbings aside, this is all to say that Seagrove Beach is clearly and profoundly deep in history and it’s  resulting influence on most all 30A communities. Bookended by Seaside to the west and Deer Lake State Park to the east, Seagrove today is a bustling 2 mile stretch of coastal Florida heaven where shopping, dining, entertainment, retail services and outdoor activity opportunities are virtually limitless.
